At the Frank Elbaz Gallery last Wednesday we saw the presentation of a streetwear capsule collection by G-Dragon’s crew: the pieces – sweatshirts, caps and rare furs – were displayed like works of art. Between a pop-up store and artistic performance, this exhibition reveals the double nature of the “Peaceminusone” label, a collective of artists but also fashion designers whose first collection was sold at Dover Street Market in London. The man behind this hybrid crew, G-Dragon is the leader of K-Pop music in Korea with 12.4 million followers on Instagram and the collective +82. This underground player never stops shifting the boundaries and has found support in the shape of numerous celebrities in the worlds of fashion and art, including the model Bella Hadid, the rapper Keith Ape and even the fashion designer Haider Ackermann who were all present and correct at the event.
